Princess Madison

This is my next precious princess God gave me (and my DH Dave). This treasure of mine is truly unique. She has always been a sweet, honest, straight forward little bundle. She adores animals, quality time with friends & family, and using her creative gifts with crafts & cooking.
One of my most treasured memories of her growing up was during our weekly womens bible study at our house. Madison would gather together a book, a bible verse and a craft to put on a mini lesson for the younger kids. She would come up with all of it on her very own without being asked. She loves to teach little kiddos about Jesus!!!
Lately this amazing young woman has blossomed into one of God's precious jewels, she is sparkling. For years God has been giving her a heart towards Africa. As she is growing older and more able to do something about it she has decided to join us in going to Tanzania to help orphans. She is so excited to be able to go and reach out a hand. To reach the world for Jesus.

My Dancin' Boots Baby

There was a defining moment in my life when I knew all would be different from that point on; It was the first time I held my own, my very own treasured keepsake. My baby girl Elisabeth Ann "Elissa". I remember her perfect head, her chubby little cheeks, and the way she just fit, right up against me as if she belonged. I was a young Mom of 20 with a very unstable marriage. Yet this little bundle seemed to make life worth it all. Treasured she was. She was mine, all mine.

As this little girl has grown from booties to dancin' boots to pointe shoes, to Uggs I have grown as well. As her years have increased I have realized: treasured she is....mine she is not. She belongs to Jesus!!! I am finding great comfort and excitement in that these days. She is livin' her life for the Lord. I have learned through my years of parenting her that Jesus uses my love for her to get me growing in Him as well. As I type my little dancin' boots baby is in Australia learning what it means to really take up her cross. This walk is truly becoming hers and hers only.

A treasured keepsake she is for sure, not only to me but to the Most High!!!!
